the location is perfect, with easy access to popular attractions and the city center. the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even allowed me to have a late checkout until 16:00 at no additional cost. the rooms were clean and spacious, and the WiFi worked perfectly. I also appreciated the option of paid car parking. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return. 😊.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

the location was excellent, with classic burger joint nearby, where we could eat. our room was comfortable and met the purpose. fast check-in was great, no complaints. touristic places like beirut central district were near our hotel.

I really liked the decoration of the hotel, it had a charming and elegant atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior. The accessibility for senior people was great, with ramps and elevators available.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the hotel staff, especially when it came to helping senior guests with their luggage. The children working there seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive to the needs of older guests.

View of the marina. Very friendly and courteous staff.
Unfortunately, the pool was closed. It was hardly possible to enjoy coffee at breakfast.

During my recent business trip to Beirut, my director chose Monroe Hotel for our stay, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in many ways. One of the highlights was the Crystal Spa, where I indulged in a rejuvenating Thai massage. It was a perfect way to relax after a long day of meetings. , the hotel offers fantastic recreational amenities, including a refreshing outdoor pool. The pool provided a great escape from the bustling city, allowing me to unwind and soak up the sun. , the services offered at the hotel were top-notch, with options for hot stone and Thai massages. These services ensured that my stay was truly remarkable, and I felt pampered throughout.
I did notice one minor issue during my stay.

I recently stayed at Monroe Hotel for a night and it was perfect for my evening at AWTAR restaurant. The central location made it easy to explore Zeituna bay and nearby Phoenicia Hotel. The staff was incredibly pleasant and responsive, quickly addressing any needs I had. The rooms were great, offering a beautiful view and a kettle with coffee and tea. I also appreciated the convenience of having a hairdresser in the hotel and will definitely be trying out the spa next time.
I recommend this hotel.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect for walking to almost anywhere in Beirut, especially downtown and souk Beirut . And the view is magnificent!
It is a bit too expensive compared to similar hotels. For almost the same price, you can stay at centerly located ramada or radisson who are both better value for money and 10 mins walk away. Another thing is the maintenNce of the rooms, there were little stains on the carpets and bathrooms were not well ventilated
